I got a request for this iconic album recently, and after much searching i found that i had sold the album years ago, really cant remember ?..but the good news is i burnt it to cd first,if fact it was one of the first albums i ever did. so not flac sadly but mid bitrate and sound is very good. This was released in the Uk at the height of the Northern Scenes heyday. At the time these were really very hard to obtain records so it sold in droves over here.Most in all honesty have been released in various compilations over the years. But what a superb collection of classic tracks there is..i played this all the way through as i havent heard it in many a year...took me back to some fantastic nights at the various venues back then,as their was not that many to attend unlike today. Great tracks from the vaults of RCA. One of the very first vintage albums from back in the day. The strange thing is i found the album covers ?..but not the album ?...

just love this album, I remember getting it in the seventies, still got it, what a list of tracks, surely one of the greatest Northern compilations ever, am I right in thinking this was the only re-release of Big Boris brilliant, full of great memories, great review AMM

I vaguely remember this one and a another one with a map of Great Britain on the front with northern soul the rest of the info escapes but none the less this is a great bunch of tunes to get on the floor in fact I am going to a northern soul night next month with my mate when he gets back from the mine site So ita big thanks to All Music Man(note) not that I can dance knee is still swollen recon on another three months
