Born in 1935 in Oklahoma & Passed in Harlem, New York in 2023 Reuben was one of the first Soul/jazz Organists who recorded 15 albums. The man was a giant in the Soul/jazz world and most of his albums are very sought after from his says on the Blue Note & Groove Merchant labels. He had a brief flirtation as a Boxer but soon returned to what he did best, pounding his organ to create so timeless grooves.
