MUSCLE SHOALS SOUNDS STUDIOS.THERES A FEW NON SOUL TRACKS ON HERE BUT SOME NICE RARE TRACKS.THE ORIGINAL HOUSE BAND AT FAME WERE THE SWAMPERS.BUT 3 OF THEM WENT THEIR OWN WAY AFTER DIFFERENCES WITH RICK HALL,WENT ACROSS TOWN AND OPENED UP MUSCLE SHOALS SOUND STUDIOS,CONCENTRATING ON ROCK MAINLY BUT WITH SOME SOME ARTISTS GOING IN TO RECORD,BUT THE BULK OF OUR HEROES WENT TO RICK HALLS FAME STUDIOS.LIKE ALL SUCCESSFUL ENTERPRISES THEIR UNIQUE SOUND COULD ONLY BE CREATED IN ALABAMA.

Thanks All Music Man for this slice of fame/muscle shoals I think i read somewhere that Eddie Hinton spilt due smoking weed great player and great voice The truckers are a bit leftfields but two of them are from that area.Still alor class on this comp great stuff

"You left the water running". Heard some excellent versions but not Otis. Muscle Shoals was quite a scene, gone now but they left some great music to show they'd been here. But as they say "You Better Move On".
