Margot Thomas - Move It-(1979)Toledo(Germany)Deco (USA) - Rare Soul/Disco

Now here,s a bit of an obscurity that had a few tracks played in the Soul/Disco clubs back in the day.Margot Thomas was an American singer working and living in Berlin Germany when she recorded this album there. The emphasis is on disco as she tried to achieve some success. As with many artists the album bombed out and only got exposure when UK Modern Soul Jocks picked it up a few years later,Very little info on her or this her only album that was also relesed on Deco in the US but died a death.

This is not at all i did find this bit of info Margot Thomas is currently recording a new Gospel CD to be followed by a Funk CD. Margot Thomas. Margot was a 14-year member of The ARC Gospel Choir from Harlem This was 2010 and this from 2011 Margot Thomas is a cousin to Sugar Chile Robinson (who is still very much alive). Sugar Chile Robinson was a 1950's child prodigy who performed for President Harry S. Truman when he was 7 years old. "Shug", (as I always called him) mentored Margot's first band in Detroit called Margot and the Tornadoes. Margot and Sugar Chile Robinson both appear in the June, 1971 issue of Ebony Magazine.. Sugar Chile Robinson is a MOVIE SUPERSTAR1111 Margot is about to record a Gospel CD to be produced by Eric Durham, ex Guitarist of CAMEO. They have already recorded numerous FUNK songs that will also be upcoming soon. But at the end of the Great post and review AMM
CheersPedro
