Much preferred the early Motown sound, more RnB in the early sixties. They smoothed it out a bit later on. Barret Strongs "Money" was, I believe, the first Motown recording, released in 1959 and was popular in the clubs down south in the UK in the very early sixties also tailor made for John Lennon! I bounced around to quite a few of these back then but some are new to me. Maybe I'll bounce around to them now. If you don't hear from me again you'll know what happened😇.
