Sir John Roberts - Sophisticated Funk Orchestra (1979) Venture - Rare Soul/Funk (FLAC)

Here,s a killer one off album from the totally unknown Sir John Roberts. He had several great 45,s on Duke that i sadly cannot locate, when i do i will post up as there,s a couple of good dancers in there if my memory serves me right. Multi talented he was a singer, trumpeter, songwriter, arranger, conductor, orchestrator most notably for Barry White. His most known recording is "Sockin' 1-2-3-4" that was a minor hit in the clubs in the uk. He is currently the head of the Music Department at Centennial High School in Compton, L.A. California. Club classics in tasters. Thx to Moxy for the covers as mine again wasted.
