One of my very fave labels is 4 Brothers which operated out of Chicago from 1965-1967, with a short return in the early 80s. The label was owned and operated by Jack Daniels, Willie Barney, and Granville White and some real blues & soul gems were recorded and are still sought after by collectors. I shared this on another blog years ago before i started my own so why not here!..many rare northern dancers included

Great Chicago label probably best know for the Sam & Kitty classic "I've Got Something Good" also the brilliant early Tyrone Davis singles, nice one AMM
