The Sunday Documentary - BB King: The Life of Riley (2012) 2 Hours

The untold true American story of an orphan boy from the heart of the Mississippi Delta who rose to music stardom around the world and inspired a generation of fans against all odds. Today i would like to show you this great music documentary film. We all know who B.B. King was and what he has done for the music industry and history. A true blues legend B.B. King. The documentary was directed by Jon Brewer, who was given the exclusive rights to interview King’s friends, colleagues, and family for the purposes of the film. Also, the film includes never before seen interviews with rock legends including Eric Clapton, Santana, Bono, Ringo Starr, Slash, Keith Richards, and many others. Besides that, Morgan Freeman is the narrator of the film who with his exceptional voice explores and follows the past of the B.B. King from the heart of the Mississippi Delta to his music stardom around the world.Because the documentary was filmed during the days when King was still alive, he opened his heart and tells the story of how he influenced the music industry and earned the title of ‘King of the Blues’. The whole documentary was filmed on locations all over America, as well as in the United Kingdom. That makes this documentary astoundingly beautiful, extremely informative, and visually captivating.
