This was davids debut album after his departure from the Temptations. What an incredible way to start a solo career with this gem!..You can read all about his life over HERE a fascinating read. As most of the times this is a CD rip. so some of the song times differ from the original LP release. My CD covers are trashed so LP covers used. I have everything this troubled genius ever recorded & not having played this in a few years , again i was blown away by the sheer quality of his material as the first time i heard it, not a dude track in sight and the tasters all played on the NSS at some point...CLASSIC!...No soul fan should ever be without a D.R. album IMHO.

He was the man and the real voice of the Temptations. I simply enjoy every song that he ever made. Every where I go at one point someone will request My Girl. Oh to have someone that sounded like him make all this songs again. The same for Levi Stubbs of the four tops.
