Joe Medwick - I,m An After Hour Man - The Crazy Cajun Recordings (2000) Edsel - Rare Soul/Blues (FLAC)

R&B/Blues/Soul legend and mainly unknown to many apart from ardent collectors,Joe Medwick was born in Houston Texas in 1933 & passed in 1992.He started working around the bars in Houston to get himself known and enhance his reputation as a top performer.  He became involved with Don Robey and his Duke label but rather than me harp on more interesting info can be read Here. This now deleted album concentrates on his Soul Output and contains many of his rare Northern Dancers.Yet again another great talent that missed the boat to stardom. His 45,s (less than 20) are very sought after and command some silly prices. More to come from him in the future. A truly wonderful singer of soul across the board! What i enjoy is getting your requests that jog my memory, as my collection is so silly now i,m forgetting what the hell i have.

Do you have any idea how long it took me to realize "Crazy Cajun" was a record label, and that "Crazy Cajun Recordings" wasn't a descriptive term for music on such compilations?
/ducks in shame 🦆🦆🦆🦆

Thanks, AMM!
