Most soul fans are aware that Silver Fox Records only existed for a brief time during the late 1960s and early '70s as an offshoot of Shelby S. Singleton, Jr.'s Nashville-based SSS International label releasing 30 odd 45,s, but it was responsible for a string of truly wonderful R&B/Soul singles during its all too brief existence. Silver Fox issued dynamite Memphis soul,Shreeveport soul,churning Detroit funk from,and a smattering of Gospel. Soul lovers will be familiar with the names included in here, all of them just as thrilling now as they were then with some great dancers. All the info you need is in the booklet.
