Well thats the festivities & madness outta the way for another year. So here we are in a trimmed down blog with the real enthusiasts left. You guys have put your money where your passion resides and for that i am very gratefull and reassured the real music lovers are still on the blog and we can get on with enjoying the music in the forthcoming year... Another re-discovery in my clean up/sort out operation i forgot about (terrible when your memory goes in age and scary!) From a Dutch label is this interesting now deleted double album, one CD is "Classic" sounds the other is classed as "Modern" with some rare cuts & 49 tracks for you to enjoy. Also issued on Vinyl but with only half the tracks.

Great stuff, way to kick off a new year
Excellent and Happy New Year! Great to see the taster on Dave Godin's soul City label. The only song I had on that label was the Valentinos "It's All Over Now" which (for me) made the stones sound like doormice! I note that there were only 20 singles released on Soul City. What a compilation that would make. Perhaps there is one.
