I want to thank all of you for your great support for my wife & i with your kind comments and many emails, and to tell you she is doing great with a couple of procedures still to go.......Bob Crewe was the owner of New York based labels Dynovox, New Voice Records, Dynovoice Records, and Crewe Records under the banner of The Crewe Group Of Companies. He was also a writer and producer mainly for The Four seasons along with Bob Gaudio one of the best teams in the business. Even the pop tracks on here show the class & quality of the man,s work and great soul tracks included with top dancers all regarded as northern classics. A Hidden track not listed on the back cover that the compilers have included, dont know the story behind that ? But it,s a great double album rarely seen nowadays highlighting some of the history of New York recordings. Bob,s style very similar to Phil Spector i always thought. These were big labels homed in on by collectors and fans alike with rare tracks seldom seen or heard out..
