Two great, but little known, artists on this vol - Mable John and Deacon John Moore. Deacon John is still alive and well and plays occassional gigs in the NO area. He rarely recorded. Desapite having been a full time musician since the 50s, he has maybe one lp, and about 15 45s to his name (there are a few live recordings taken during Jazz Fest that are floating around). Many thanks guys!!!
