Well after a surprising PC failure, only 2 years old and out of warranty (and pocket), i purchased a new one and been tweaking to my satisfaction, so all being well back tomorrow with some great vintage drops! thanks for all your best wishes. appreciated!

It's extremely frustrating and irritating when your only computer stops to work. I guess we've all had that experience. However, two years seems like a very short lifetime for a computer. The last laptops I've had have worked for at least 4 -5 years before they have gradually started to be more and more unreliable. What brand was this computer of yours?

the last one i had was HP and lasted 7 years!
the heap of crap i just had was a DELL...never again.
got a lenovo ..seems ok so see how it goes.the wifes had hers for a few years now and still going strong!
that swayed me!

i also used many pcs but none of them lasted that long
seems certain that the more you use the shorter its life
anyway we all eagerly waiting for you!
