Gregg Diamond - Gregg Diamond's Star Cruiser - LP (1978) Marlin - CD (2021) Solid Japan + Bonus Tracks - Rare Soul/Funk/Disco (FLAC)

Greg Diamond was born in 1949 & passed 1999. He was a pianist, drummer, songwriter, and producer who was active in the Jazz and Disco music scenes of the 1970s.Also he worked extensively with Luther Vandross,Chaka Khan & James Brown. Whilst this album was aimed at the Disco market at the time it surprisingly crossed over & provided a few huge dancers on the northern scene as well as mainstream soul/funk clubs here in the UK. Greg recorded 3 more albums for polydor as well as 20 odd singles. Henry Stone of miami was a shrewed cookie and could spot a lot of money coming his way through the sales of this album on his Marlin label which he of course did.
