As an add on to the sunday documantary comes these two fine albums. Perhaps the last of the major establishments of the northern scenes golden era, along with "the wheel", "the torch", "blackpool mecca highland room", & wigan casino". These albums highlight the major sounds from that venue. I myself only ventured there the one time but moxy lived there!

Why would I resist this superb cake which represents the English scene of Northern Soul well. In Belgium 0 THE SAME 2nd TIME There was Le Groove in Oostende, then Popcorn and finally Forzeau 61 in Templeuve which were a bit like the "little ones" of Wheel, Torch, Blackpool and Wigan. Thanks to AMM and Moxy.
