Another review from the old blog that i,ve had a few requests for. This really is a stunning album that gives all the tracks, known & unknown a refreshing remake. The "San remo,s" were made up of the Funk brothers (Motown Default band) and members from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra who were hooked up by Doni Burdick (northern legend) & moonlighters from other labels in the D. They also went under the name of the Wingate Strings on both of Ed Wingates labels.Most of the tracks were spun on the NS but not as many tasters as i thought on youtube. See how rare this old boot is now, even Amazon are selling what they can get hold of at this crazy price. Their quest for greed makes me laugh as they clearly dont know this is a boot nor do they care as long as the $$$ roll in. This is the current price AMAZON...Shows how insane the current market place for music has become. First time ive played this in a few years with my internet down yesterday and what a cracking album it is,not a dude track on here even with the old standards. It just epitomises the sound of Super Detroit!
