Detroit soul trio The Sensations relocated to Cleveland in 1966 after the success of their first single "Please Baby Please" and quickly became the most successful group on Bill Branch and Lester Johnson's Way Out label. The group consisted of Roosevelt Simmons, John Washington, Joe Kelly and Chester Florence (joined later). The group is not to be confused with others by the same name notably Yvonne Baker and The Sensations (philadelphia) on Argo records.
