A noted blues/soul musician from New Orleans recently passed, Walter"Wolfman" Washington. A tribute concert was held this past Sunday in No at the famed Tipitina’s club, as a fundraiser to defer his family’s medical costs. It was filmed and it’s a really great event. Walter recorded 15 studio albums and 10 x 45,s, a true legend in his city and on the music scene with folks with taste! A Late Tribute Not In His Lifetime But Well Deserved Anyway..AToastToHim.
Walter just finished an album before he was put in hospice. I got to hear one cut from it, and its magnificent. I'm hearing that they are going to try to get it released by this Spring.
