I wanted to review something a bit special today and quite a rare and unique album. This was the last ever album released on Hot Wax(owned by Holland-Dozier-Holland) before it folded with money problems a year later. This group who only ever released this one album and two 45,s. but what an album it is and yet sank without trace. The guys came from washingon D.C. but released singles as the Marvels & the Senators, but northern fans will know them better as the satisfactions with their output on the Lionel & Smash labels after undergoing a few changes in personnel. Their line up for this gem of an album were Lorenzo Hines(lead), james Isom, Earl jones, & Fletcher Lee. They then vanished from the music business which was a shame. Must say a very weird cover ? but such a time defying album!
