With more and more record companys moving away from the LP/CD format to make it more affordable for buyers, a lot of great albums are becoming available as a digital download. Granted they are cheaper and dont take up space but not the same, then again i am old fashioned i suppose ?..Tokyo based DJ Notoya digs the rich Electric Bird catalogue and come with a versatile selection of sunny Jazz-Funk gems recorded between 1978 and 1987 for the label. A tasty selection featuring Yasuaki Shimizu, Toshiyuki Honda and Mikio Masuda, together with a few American musicians such as Ronnie Foster and Bobby Lyle. I know there are quite a few on here that love this genre so just for you guys, your not being ignored! ...Great album from a legendary Japanese label.
