Mutt records a Detroit area soul label was owned by Nate J.V. Dore, also a studio owner and songwriter. The label was located in Inkster upstate Michagan only 21 miles west of the "D". He also owned Country Caravan Records, Desireé, Pennie Records, & Top Of The Needle Records all from his base in Inkster. The labels specialised in soul/pop/garage rock/country. The album featured here is predominantly Soul. The label ran from 1965-1969,Pennie a short lived existance in 1966, & Desiree the one release believed to be circa 1968 but unconfirmed. A copy of that now will cost you $78.
