TV & The Tribesmen - Barefootin' (1966) Hanna Barbera Records (Mono Promo)- Rare Soul (MP3 69MB)

Another blast from the past with an album that set the northern scene alight back in the days of the Torch in the early 1970,s as it seemed it was made for it but the producer knew nothing about the scene then...This album was a tailored made by producer Huey P Meaux i suspect trying to cash in on the dance crazes of the day. It features the voice of the Joe Medwick who i reviewed earlier on the blog. Very nice of that "rich man" (moxy) to sling it my way. loves his dancers does our mox..lol..Again never released to CD which is a shame. Amazed none of these great tracks ended up on any compilations ?...one can hope!

AMM
