Long deleted from stock by Ace/Westbound this really is a tremendous album filled with quality tracks again from the Eastbound label as well as Westbound. Detroit wasnt just about motown as most of us are aware from the tiny labels that sprung up & Westbound wasn`t just about their funk releases which are equally superb. But this sits alongside the "Westbound Northern Soul" CD reviewed a few days ago. Some previously unissued tracks are again evident as is the quality of those tracks. taster 4 is the real rare gem on here in my book & a bit of a mystery ?
