Bobby Robinson was a record shop owner, songwriter, and producer & based in New York City. he was Born in 1917 in Union, South Carolina & passed in 2011 in Harlem, New York City. He was a legendary Harlem record shop owner (Bobby's Records And Tape Center) that i frequented a couple of times on my visits to the states with an incredible amount of stock. He was most active in the record industry from the 1950s up to the 1980s. He penned and produced numerous hit records and co-founded several record labels, among them Red Robin, Fury Records, Everlast, Fire Records, Whirlin Disc, Enjoy Records,Blue Soul & BR. Between them they spawned some incredible R&B/Soul/Blues records. This is just a compilation of one of those labels. I found my booklet included, but not the CD yet ? but someone kindly stepped up to solve that problem.
