Many Northern Soul fans dismiss the blues, a big big mistake! As ive always maintained its a very thin line between the genres if any at all ? This is a fantastic collection of tracks from the vaults of Jewel/paula..Listen to the Tasters that were ALL played out on the scene over the years, in fact check out the whole album...My mistake was selling it to moxy as he drove me mad for it, but i kept the booklet which was good!...just ordered it again its that good!

I totally agree with you, AMM. The cross over between blues and soul is sometimes unnoticeable. Either way, I like both genres. Thanks a lot for this review!!
