Ramsey Emmanuel Lewis Jr. ( 1935 - 12th September, 2022) R.I.P.

First off thanks to you all for your kind comments re my break. I,m very sad to come back to further bad news as another great legend has passed away.Known to all soul & jazz fans the world over for his incredible musicianship,he was a composer, pianist/keyboardist, recording a whopping 80 albums and countless 45,s..I loved his Soul output and also his Jazz/Funk material. So here,s my small tribute to his memory,2 albums showcasing his soul & jazz output.the first a rare live album from 1970 an LP release only still that he did on tour in Minneapolis on Cadet records & the second an iconic jazz/funk classic. Most people have the classic "wade in the water" album but if anyone wants it i,ll post up in Flac for you. He,s done so much i would be here all day,so for full Bio please pop over to His Site Here

Two fantastic releases by Mr. Lewis - I especially enjoy the Them Changes lp with Phil Upchurch's contributions. Grab these two, guys. Both are fine recordings. RIP Mr. Lewis and thanks AMM for helping to keep his memory alive.
