Sunday Documentary - One Note At A Time (2016) 1 Hour 35 Minutes
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, music can save the soul of the city, but can the musicians save themselves?...This interesting docu explores the subject.
What a great movie! It also goes into detail about the start of the Musicians' Clinic in NO - a free health care service for the musicians of the city. They have saved many of my friends. Dr. John, Aaron Neville and Allen Toussaint provided the seed money for it to start. Amazingly, one of the longest standing, and biggest, financial contributors (who has avoided any publicity for doing so) is that noted New Orleanian -------- Huey Lews of Huey Lewis and the News fame. I kid you not - guy annually donates a large sum (and, I mean LARGE) to the charity and has refused all publicity attempts for doing so. Grab this and enjoy it guys. I might be prejudiced, but to the extent NO ever recovers from Katrina (and the jury is still out on that ), the musicians will have done it.
Looks Good not had time to look aT IT yet had a bit of trouble someone has hack into the internet providers system so I'm looking to see if anything has been lost F#@$%k Hackers excuse my language Thanks AMM
