R.I.P. Anita Pointer – Love For What It Is (1987) RCA - LP Version (MP3) HQ

Yet another sad loss to the soul community,American singer songwriter Anita was born in 1948, in East Oakland, California, and sadly passed away from Cancer December 31st last year in Beverley Hills, California. She was a founding member of the vocal group the Pointer Sisters, retiring from the group in 2015. Anita released a solo album in 1987, "Love For What It Is," FEATURED .which garnered a minor club hit with "More Than A Memory" but her biggest success outside the Pointer Sisters was her 1986 duet with Earl Thomas Conley, "Too Many Times," which went to #2 on Billboard's Country charts, was certified gold. It was nominated for the CMA 1987 Vocal Duo of the Year.A very sounding 80,s album but i liked her voice along with the group.
