I wanted to do something a little different with this volume, so i choose the rarest records in my collection that cover the "Modern" era the 70,s & 80.s mainly rather than the 1960,s. At current prices they would total up to circa £50,000. These gems will only increase in value over the years as demand for them is very high. But the quality of the records will always stay the same.

AMM I think you might have excelled yourself with this. So many rare tracks, to get all these tracks in as clean condition is priceless and probably impossible.
Too many classic 70's soul songs to make comment on but I must make a couple. Bo Fowler - "Now That You've Got The Upper Hand" (try and find that one!).Lee Mitchell - "The Economy", there's an artist worth investigation. If Roy Dawson - "Over The Top" had been released in the '60's when I was a DJ down south I'd have played this to death (Old Soul Rebel you should check this out!).
This is a classic example of why northern soul is such a phenomena. If you were fortunate enough to be there in the 70's this album will definitely take you back, and you may never return.
