Lizard was a Short lived American independent label founded by producer Gabriel Mekler and based in Hollywood, CA. Active from 1969-1971. Its main artist was janis Joplin. Sometimes distributed by Ampex Records in the US. It issued some Soul 45,s featured on here along with a few Pop/Rock tracks that was their bread and butter. Our interest centres on Nolan Porter (N.F.Porter), Clydie King, & Paul Humphreys rare tracks.
