WSJ was an obscure label that ran from 1960s to 1990s in New York City, it was owned by a William Shephard and had 9 x 45,s released. I only know this label as a couple of the 45,s were played on the scene years ago, i remember hearing the Jimmy Ross track and thought why are they playing this ? and about 40 seconds into it it really took off!..brave dj that night, & Danny Freemans great " Bosco groove" instro on first hearing i thought this has got to be Dave Hamilton on vibes..but no!....but what top records!... and to obtain them now is very pricey indeed!..So i was gobsmacked when this digital copy appeared and snapped it up..one happy man!
