Step By Step - I Always Wanted To Be In The Band (LP 1976 Brunswick - CD 2005 Victor) - Rare Soul/Funk (FLAC 238MB)

Obscure band that only recorded this one album and 3 x 45,s. Only info i can find is that they were a 12 piece soul band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin & they often opened for the Stylistics when performing mainly in the northern states. Had a few tracks played on the scene hence my original purchase. I remember i bought the original LP in Blackppol Mecca for quite a tidy sum. They had talent all right but just vanished ?

It's a pity there was no longevity with this band. They really do sound nice.
Especially "Don't Leave Me" Great review, AMM.
