Thanks to Blogger i cant continue to make my own tasters anymore !?...Such control is totally unfair back to youtube then or pay out a fortune for more software, not happening!....And thats not all they,ve updated their servers and knocked my text out of position on all previous posts!..great..Not!!!...ok enough of my moans back to the real biz...

Sue Records UK was a subsidiary of Island Records and was founded by Chris Blackwell and Guy Stevens in 1963. The first issue, WI 301, was ‘Mockingbird’ by Inez Foxx (with Charlie).  The first few releases were all sourced from Juggy Murray’s Sue records of New York. The label was named after Juggy,s Wife & Daughter and the logo was Designed from a birthmark on Juggy,s Daughter,s Cheek. Gradually records were leased from other American record companies. The records were snapped up by collectors of soul, blues and rock and roll music etc and were much sought-after. In the 1980s Ensign records relaunched the Sue label for a short time. In recent years some CDs have been released celebrating this legendary 1960s record label, which was originally closed by Island in 1969, but refused to die…...Ive included some old scans that members may be interested in....The start of a 17 volume collection of the above series. There are no collections around the web including every single 45 & EP released. So ive forgone the others for Ours!

Deep down under in Oz, there's Pedro. Although his search was fruitless, i appreciate the time & effort you put in for me, Thank you. Then over the pond to BillyMac in the USA. Let me tell you that this review would not be possible without his generosity. The one record required to finish this set was only avaiable in Oz or the U.S.A., with stupid postage prices to the U.K. if they had posted this 45. He purchased this at my request, then refused my offer of payment, and it didn't come cheap, but asked his name be included.(Would have anyway BillyMac, just for your effort to help me out). So, if you are one of the blog members who take this review, please show your gratitude to Billymac. Thanks for your long time friendship lads".

I also would like to add my personal thanks to BillyMac for helping out on this project & his reviews on the blog along with pedro,s since i began blogging, pedro who has helped me out with artwork before i knew what i was doing countless times, & also his reviews. Both are great friends of this blog. I think Eltel and myself speak for all the other UK Soul Brothers in echoing our gratitude!.... Parting with money for this blog to complete collections & purchasing albums speaks volumes about the calibre of guys on here, so thanks to all my fellow UK Soul brothers for your time and expense in making this blog what is is....SPECIAL!...PS...perhaps like me your paupers with spare cash going into music, with partners that want to section us...i think my mrs does lol!
