This album was first released in 1998 with 22 tracks. At that time all but a handful had made it to 45 and were unissued. Again due to demand from UK fans/collectors UNG released this again but over 2 volumes with some stunning tracks. So here we have tracks that have lay dormant in the motown vaults for decades, doing versions of well know tunes their way. Some of these found their way onto the Northern Scene via Acetates but it was a great day when these gems were legally released. The booklet is a great read with all the info for the discerning reader. The initial 1998 is long deleted but this does not come cheap. take a look at amazon/Ebay/Discogs for example crazy money!...When the price rockets deletion is close behind...Fantastic and essential !...and to you guys its free!!!

The tambourines did not always spoil things, it is true that there are many jewels on the label, especially in its early and late 60s
