The great Allen Lamar Wilson was born in Mississippi in 1939 and passed in 2008. He recorded seven studio albums and nearly fifty 45,s. The man is a legend on the Northern Scene for his many dancers "the snake","passport", "now i know what love is" plus countless more. He was one of the most classiest soul artists to grace a stage and recording studio. i wouldnt be without any of his albums as his voice always knocked me out. This is a repost from the old blog but in Flac. As well as the original album there are 11 bonus tracks. His days at soul city produced some of the finest songs you,ll ever hear & delivered to perfection, a man for all genres. He appeared on the tv series SOUL TRAIN in the USA a few times but didnt get the breaks that should have made him a superstar, as he had the voice and stage presence to achieve this, sadly not to be.. More in depth info can be found right here...But read the booklet first..More to come from him in the future.
