You guys are sending in some wonderful albums, so i,m still trying to clear the backlog as fast as i can time permitting! This fabulous collection of one of New Orleans famous Sons is no exception. No introduction need to this legend and ex Meters main man. I won,t harp on about info just read the attached booklet ,its all in there..like i said the guy is a fabulous legend and this collection is essential to any fan of New Orleans Soul!

The longshoreman (yep - he worked as one for awhile) with the voice of an angel. Great overview of his work through '77, but obviously omits his work from then, including the song that he just won a Grammy for; on Take It To The River - Stompin Ground.
I've known Aaron for over 25 years. Guy has had a rough life, and got screwed out of a ton of money (he literally made $20 from Tell It Like It Is). Despite that, he has been an invaluable help to us in geting the NO/La Music Hall Of Fame off the ground - and, he got paid for doing so (he actually offered to volunteer, and was told no).
I have all of these songs, but def want to hear what they may have done to them in terms of re-production and the assocaited booklet. Many thanks, AMM. The man is truly a living legend.

This guy is an american ICON, his voice has been describe as coming from angels. He has done some marvelous songs with various artist. If you hear a song and you will recognize his voice right away. Thank you AMM and Ricticrelic.
