Ken Muramatsu - Still Life Donuts (1984) CBS/SONY - Rare Japanese jazz/Funk Fusion (FLAC)

"Still Life Donuts" is Ken Muramatsu's memorable debut album released in 1983. It,s a masterpiece that represents the genre of Japanese fusion. He is a multi instrumental player with piano,  sanshin player, flute and more as well as a composer,. He made his debut in 1983 while still a student at Seijo University. He puts himself into his music and lets it take him according to his heart. A beautiful album highlighting the man,s mastery of mainly piano. I bought the LP in 1983 only for it to come out on CD a year later!...ken has 15 great albums under his belt and hard to get hold of.  Superb album!

Intrigued to hear this one. Japan has given us some excellent offerings, there is a freshness about their approach to jazz that's, well, refreshing! Thankyou.
