The superb sonny til was the former lead singer with R&B/Doo Wop group The Orioles for many years. he was born Earlington Carl Tilghman in Baltimore in 1929 and passed in 1981. He only recorded 2 studio solo albums but this is a corker with 3 indemand Legendary dancers that are still played & enshrining him into Northern folklore as well as his releases on charlie parker & clown records both lined up for RNS series. This album is still sought after by soul fans/collectors alike. This is what soul is all about!. You can read more about him and his years with the fabulous Orioles at this PLACE. One of my all time fave albums, all killer no filler!
