Groovesville was owned by Detroit Entrepeneur Don Davis, who apart from owning the label was a writer,producer,& guitarist and played on many great soul records recorded at united sound studios in Detroit. There,s a great interview with him over at this place for further info on his life and career. Thanks to soulfood.
