I thought it was about time we had a gospel review, and are you in for a treat!..It,s an album that hardly ever sits still with soul and funk intertwined with a powerful gospel delivery. Not much info out there sadly apart that they did record another album that are both now hard to obtain, ive got the other tucked away somewhere ? will review that when found. Great uptempo gospel..it,s enough to make me go to church again (lapsed catholic....no comment!) Not enough tasters to highlight how good this is!

You're right. A good gospel once in a while can't hurt, especially since it's pretty rare.

If they thought the cost of living was very high in 1980, what would they sing now? 💵

Second taster brings back memories. Grew listening to and singing gospel in church. My mom and her sisters we all gospel singers and musicians for many years in various churches even singing on the radio back in the late 50' and early 60's on the radio in Clarksville Tennessee. Her brothers were also singers and musicians, but the preferred the blues and played in various juke joints along the "Chitlin' Circuit" in the south. As the boys got older some of them moved over to the church and sang in some pretty good male choruses. Six boys and six girls, it was quite the party when my aunts and uncles all came together. Thanks AMM!!!
Thanks for this gospel album.
